Cleveland State University and Town Hall Series of Cleveland team up
to bring top speakers to Cleveland

July 24, 2006Town Hall of Cleveland, one of the nation's longest-running
public speaker forums, will partner with Cleveland State University to
bring top-name speakers to Cleveland during the 2006-2007 season. "We
are very pleased to support the 76th season of this important speaker
series," said
Dr. Michael Schwartz, Cleveland State President. "This partnership
reflects the University's goal to extend its reach further into the local
community."
Bruce Akers, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Town Hall said, "This
is truly a win-win situation for the University, for Town Hall, and most
especially for the Greater Cleveland community. We are very excited about
the upcoming season, which features an outstanding lineup of speakers
reflecting diverse perspectives on our society, as well as some of the
best political satire."
The 2006-2007 season, beginning in September, will feature:

- February 12, 2007 - Julie Gerberding, MD
Director of the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention
